Warner set to leave next year?

AFL clubs continue to haggle over trade deals with less than one week officially left in this year’s trade period.

The deadline for trades is next Wednesday evening, with a host of big names still waiting to find out if they will be granted moves.

Bailey Smith (Geelong), Dan Houston (Victoria), Shai Bolton (Western Australia) and Jack Macrae (St Kilda) are among those still in limbo as talks drag on.

The Houston situation is the most complex, with a report on Wednesday night claiming he had chosen Collingwood as his preferred home.

The two-time All-Australian defender has not publicly declared a preference though.
