Dominic and Bryce on their way to see Crows vs Collingwood at the MCG

Super fans and lucky competition winners Dominic and Bryce will soon be on their way to Melbourne to see their heroes take on Collingwood.

What’s better than watching the Crows live at the MCG? Having a kick and catch with the team before the big game.

Super fans Dominic Blucher, 8, and Bryce Winmar, 6, enjoyed a behind-the-scenes tour of the club’s West Lakes headquarters on Thursday, including coach Matthew Nicks’ office, the weight room and even the media room.

Later they did some goalkicking with Max Michalanney and sharpshooter Darcy Fogarty.

The visit comes just days before the boys and their families will be flown by Qantas to Melbourne to watch the Crows’ clash with Collingwood on Sunday thanks to The Advertiser’s subscriber competition.

Bryce’s nana Catherine Gould said his face “lit up” as soon as the players came out to greet them.

“They were wonderful, they made both of them feel right at home,” she said.

Dominic, who was diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy 12 months ago, loved having a kick with his heroes, said his dad Steve.

“It was a wonderful experience. He’s getting very excited for Sunday now,” he said.

Fogarty said it was great to see the boys’ passion for the club.

“The families had a tour of the club and we had a kick with the kids afterwards and you picture yourself when you were that age how special that would have been,” he said.

“So it was great to have them here and will be even better knowing we’ll have their support against Collingwood at the MCG this weekend so hopefully they have a great weekend.”
