6:13pm: RICHMOND SUB ACTIVATED

4:50pm: WHERE’S SHORT?

The Tigers are back in front after a running goal from Marlion Pickett – and they have even won a couple of free kicks. But Jayden Short is unusually quiet. He has five disposals but only three have hit the tsarget and he’s given away a free kick to sit on just eight SuperCoach points midway through the second term.

He isn’t even benefitting from Port Adelaide’s inaccuracy (4.9) with Nick Vlastuin taking most of the kick-ins.

4:44pm: FREE KICK UPDATE

The tally is now 8-2 in Port’s favour with the latest a downfield free after Zak Butters was pushed following a charge through the midfield.

2:57pm: SUNS ACTIVATE SUB

Gold Coast has injected Rory Atkins into the game, replacing Ben Long.

2:50pm: ALEX SEXTON PUBLIC ENEMY No.1

Forward turned defender Alex Sexton was beseiged by Bulldogs players after bowling over Laitham Vandermeer then giving a clip to the back of the head to go on with.

The Dogs won a free kick and 50m penalty from the scuffle which resulted in a Sam Darcy goal.

He followed it up with another to shoot to an ultra-impressive 89 SuperCoach points, while Sexton is sitting on just 30. Speakig of Suns rookies, Tom Berry has 15 points.

2:45pm: DOGS RESPOND

68 – Sam Darcy

65 – Ed Richards

62 – Touk Miller

He’s a $123,900 FWD in SuperCoach.

UPDATE: Bontempelli went forwatrd after his injury scare, marked and kicks a long goal on the siren!

1:20pm: COFFIELD SUBBED!

Bulldogs defender Nick Coffield is out of the game just minutes into the opening quarter.
