Real estate agents have been inundated with offers for a luxury eco resort in the Gold Coast Hinterland.
The EcoView in the Tallebudgera Valley is the brainchild of businessman Tony de Leede, who built and co-owns the neighbouring Gwinagnna Lifestyle Retreat with actor Hugh Jackman.
The Fitness First founder spent more than $9m on the resort but is selling it before it has opened to guests.
The complex has 15 luxury eco villas spread around a communal building and pool facility.
Expressions of interest close on the 28ha property on July 3, with Kollosche Commercial agents Tony and Adam Grbcic revealing they had received a significant number of inquires.
“We have received around 200 inquires and done a few inspections on it, so it’s kept us quite busy he said.
Marketing material for the project emphasises the exclusive nature of the project.
“Located in a totally private and highly serene setting, the low-maintenance facility has been designed for comfort and flexibility, using materials that are practical and sympathetic to the surrounding environment while maximising stunning views across the estate,” it reads.
“Established to operate under a ‘host your own’ hire model, with a seamless booking and operations process, it is the ideal venue for wellness facilitators, corporate groups, boutique event organisers and extended families seeking a suitable venue for gatherings and celebrations.
“Offering an immediate income stream, EcoView is ideal for investors who prefer a hands-off approach, but the property also has widespread potential for those wanting to pursue complementary revenue streams, subject to approvals.”
It is understood the property would generate $2m of revenue annually for its new owners, with the daily hire of the entire facility starting at $67,000.
Kollosche is pitching the facility as a strong investment for a buyer.
“Spread across 28.06ha of elevated hinterland offering stunning views towards the city skyline and ocean, recently completed EcoView is an exceptional opportunity for those ready to capitalise on a growing demand for spaces dedicated to lifestyle, wellness, and corporate business ventures with boutique accommodation attached,” its pitch reads.
“Built with intention and premium finishes throughout, the retreat space comprises a main building or gathering hub, which has a commercial kitchen, extensive dining and lounge areas, alongside five multipurpose rooms that can be converted to bedrooms if needed.”
