A GOLD COAST woman accused of stabbing a Crows Nest man numerous times in broad daylight at the weekend has fronted court.
Danni-Lee Howe, 20, was charged with acts intending to cause grievous bodily harm stemming from the incident at River Heart Parklands on Sunday afternoon.
Ms Howe made no application for bail and was remanded into custody.
Magistrate Roger Stark adjourned the matter until March 23.
It is alleged Ms Howe armed herself with a knife and stabbed the Crows Nest man, 55, several times in the stomach.
He was taken to Ipswich Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and has since been released.
It is understood Ms Howe and the man were known to each other.
Several people witnessed the brutal attack with video footage of the incident popping up on social media.
Police investigations into the circumstances which led to the attack are ongoing.
