Donald Trump accused Kamala Harris of destroying the United States as he took to the stage at his huge sold-out rally at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
“You’ve destroyed our country. We’re not going to take it anymore, Kamala, you’re fired. Get out. Get out. You’re fired,” Mr Trump told the crowd.
The former US president took to the stage at Madison Square Garden after a glowing introduction from wife Melania, who made a rare appearance.
Mr Trump said the venue was “a special place” and an “incredible arena” to deliver his closing message for the final week of the election campaign.
“I’m thrilled to be back in the city I love,” he said.
He offered what he said was “a message of hope for all Americans”, promising to end inflation and illegal immigration while restoring the American dream.
“We will achieve success that nobody could imagine,” Mr Trump promised.
“This is going to be America’s new golden age.”
