Donald Trump confirms Jeffrey Epstein ‘stole’ women, including Virginia Giuffre, from Mar-a-Lago spa

Donald Trump has detailed his fall out with paedophile Jeffrey Epstein – and it involved American-Australian victim Virginia Giuffre. It comes as Epstein’s brother dropped a bombshell.

Donald Trump detailed his falling out with late pedophile Jeffrey Epstein for the first time Tuesday (Wednesday AEST), telling reporters the convicted sex offender used Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club spa as a hunting ground for young women.

“Everyone knows the people that were taken, and it was the concept of taking people that work for me is bad,” Mr Trump, now 79, said as he flew back to Washington after spending five days in Scotland.

“But that story has been pretty well out there, and the answer is yes, they were.”

The US president said Monday that he booted Epstein — who died in his Manhattan jail cell on August 10, 2019, while awaiting federal trial on sex trafficking charges — from Mar-a-Lago because the financier “stole people that worked for me.”

“I have a great spa, one of the best spas in the world, at Mar-a-Lago. And people were taken out of the spa, hired by him,” Mr Trump recounted.

“When I heard about it, I told him, I said, ‘Listen, we don’t want you taking our people,’ whether it was spa or not spa, I don’t want him taking people. And he was fine. And then not too long after that, he did it again. And I said, ‘Out of here.’”

Among the victims Epstein and his accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell met at Mar-a-Lago was Virginia Giuffre, who made global headlines when she claimed she had sex with the UK’s Prince Andrew at the age of 17.

“I think she worked at the spa. I think so. I think that was one of the people. Yeah, he stole her,” Mr Trump said of Giuffre, who took her own life this past April.

“And by the way, she had no complaints about us, as you know. None whatsoever.

Giuffre, who went public with her accusations against Epstein in 2011, had worked as a spa attendant at Mar-a-Lago, where her father was a maintenance manager.

At some point in 2000, Giuffre, then 16, met Maxwell, who offered her a job working for Epstein as a travelling masseuse.

The American-Australian victim died by suicide this year.

MAXWELL TO PLEAD THE FIFTH UNLESS DEMANDS MET

It comes as Ghislaine Maxwell is set to plead the Fifth Amendment in response to a congressional subpoena to testify about Jeffrey Epstein — unless several demands are met, according to a Tuesday letter from her attorney obtained by The New York Post.

Defense lawyer David Oscar Markus told the Republican-led House Oversight Committee that his client’s statements under oath “could compromise her constitutional rights, prejudice her legal claims, and potentially taint a future jury pool.”

“Accordingly, our initial reaction was that Ms. Maxwell would invoke her Fifth Amendment rights and decline to testify at this time,” Markus wrote to Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.).

“However, after further reflection, we would like to find a way to cooperate with Congress if a fair and safe path forward can be established.”

The demands listed in the letter include two items that Markus deemed non-negotiable: a grant of immunity for Maxwell and testifying outside the Florida federal prison where she’s been serving a 20-year sentence since 2022 for conspiring with Epstein to abuse young girls.

EPSTEIN BROTHER DROPS BOMBSHELL

Meanwhile Epstein’s brother, Mark, has again said he does not believed that his brother committed suicide.

“He had dirt on people. He knew a lot of things about a lot of people. Somebody wanted to keep him quiet,” Mark Epstein told Channel 9.

“I’ve already said publicly that – it’s out there – that in 2016, during the election, Jeffrey told me that – he didn’t tell me what he knew – but he told me that if he said what he knew about the candidates, that they would have to cancel the election.”

The candidates that year were Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, who had previously been photographed with Epstein.

Mark said Jeffrey and Mr Trump were “really good friends” and during the early 90s “Trump was in Jeffrey’s office a lot when he was in financial trouble”.

Mark said he regularly spoke to his brother and claimed Jeffrey admitted being involved with “underage girls”.

“He told me he was stupid,” he said.
