Controversial Australian chef Pete Evans says he has met with US President Donald Trump and billionaire Elon Musk as he ramps up his involvement with Robert F. Kennedy Jr’s Make America Healthy Again plan.
Evans took to social media to say he had a “beautiful evening” at the Mar-a-Lago Club at the invitation of friends.
“Got to meet and shake hands with the legendary DJ that was spinning the tracks all night for his guests, the President @realdonaldtrump as well as Elon Musk and @jamesokeefeiii [media mogul James O’Keefe,” he wrote.

Evans followed up with a post showing an interview he did earlier this month on US television with Ed Henry, in which he talked candidly about being “cancelled” over his controversial views on covid, social distancing, mask-wearing and the covid vaccine.
He was also spruiking his latest book Healthy Food for Healthy Kids, a collaboration with the RFK Jnr’s foundation Children’s Health Defense.
Evans told Henry he used to have a “large profile” before covid saw him cancelled for his controversial views.
“I used to host Australia’s number one commercial TV show for many, many years,” Evans said.
“And when covid came around, I was very sceptical about the whole mandate … especially to do with the shots and social distancing and mask wearing and everything. And I voiced my opinion, and it didn’t go down too well in this country.”
Evans had plenty of praise for RFK Jnr, saying he had been working with him for a number of years.
“It’s such an honour to be able to work with Children’s Health Defense and Bobby’s team, and Bobby is one of the most miraculous, brave, beautiful individuals that I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and speaking with over the last four or five years, and he inspires me daily, as he, no doubt, inspires a lot of people,” he told the show.
“And I just want to congratulate him for the tenacity and the determination and for what he is about to about to change, I believe, and bring to the fore … often times health is sort of pushed to the side.”
He said he would like to see the dietary guidelines inverted to move away from high carbohydrate diets with cereals and grains.
“I would say, celebrate beautiful caught seafood. Celebrate regeneratively farmed meat and game and source out the non-toxic sprayed fruit and vegetables at your local farmers markets, co-ops, supermarket stores, you know, just bring it back to basics and try not to buy anything out of a packet as much as you can,” he said.
Evans, previously known for hosting the popular Australian reality show My Kitchen Rules, has previously shared photos of himself with RFK Jr. while donning the infamous MAGA hat.
