Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s three-year-old son Archie has made a rare appearance on camera as he sat on his mother’s lap during a web chat discussion.

Archie was joined by his grandmother Doria Ragland, who looked casual in a red top and trousers.

The trio were appearing in a web call with Jotaka Eaddy, the chief executive officer of social impact consulting firm Full Circle Strategies.

Also in the call was American political strategist Donna Brazile.

An image of the chat was shared by Professor Duchess Harris, who specialises in American studies and feminism, as Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales kick off their US tour.

The Sussexes have been careful not to share too many photos of their children, including one-year-old Lilibet.

One of the last photos of Archie shared directly by the former senior royals was in the couple’s 2021 Christmas card.

His appearance in the call came as Prince William and Kate Middleton arrived in the US for a three-day tour taking in Boston and Massachusetts and the second Earthshot Prize Awards.

HARRY AND MEGHAN RELEASE INVICTUS PROMO

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle went head-to-head for a cheeky game of table tennis in a new promo video for the 2023 Invictus Game.

The 80-second video features athletes who will be competing in the upcoming sporting event, which will be held in Dusseldorf, Germany in September next year.

The black-and-white clip begins with athletes entering an empty stadium for their own table tennis matches.

But by the end of the ad — which is promoting tickets for the opening and closing ceremonies — a hand wearing a massive diamond ring is seen patting a paddle.

The promo then ends with a tagline “Be Part of It” as the Duchess of Sussex makes a surprise appearance right before the trailer draws to a close.

Prince Harry smiles lovingly at his opponent before the camera zooms in on Markle.

The Duchess – who is dressed casually in a dark V-neck jacket and has her hair tied up in a bun – then gives her husband a quick nod to indicate that she’s ready for him to play.

The Invictus Games is an international multi-sport event held for the wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women, including those who are on active duty and veterans.

“Harry and Meghan make an appearance in the latest promo video for next year’s Invictus Games,” Finding Freedom co-writer Omid Scobie posted on Twitter alongside the clip.

SUPERFANS BROUGHT FRAMED PICTURES OF MEGHAN

Guests who paid $5000 a table to hear Meghan Markle speak at a charity dinner even brought framed photos of the Duchess to display.

The mother-of-two jetted into Indianapolis from California on Wednesday to attend the “Power of Women” event.

MEGHAN’S KIND ACT FOR THANKSGIVING

Meghan Markle was spotted carrying out an impressive act of kindness in a community far from her $21 million mansion in California.

The Duchess of Sussex has been pictured helping to prepare a Thanksgiving meal for 300 homeless women in the notorious Skid Row section of downtown Los Angeles.

In a photograph shared on the Archewell Foundation website, Markle — who is well-known for her culinary skills — can be seen hard at work as she prepares individual slices of pumpkin pie.

The image was taken at the Downtown Women’s Centre, which is described on its website as the only organisation in Los Angeles focused exclusively on serving and empowering women experiencing homelessness.

Markle donned a black baseball cap, white face mask and a mint green jumper as she got to work.

The Sussexes’ Archewell Foundation shared the image on its website, writing: “Earlier this week, the Archewell Foundation Team helped prepare a Thanksgiving lunch for over 300 Downtown Women’s Centre (DWC) residents in Los Angeles.

“DWC provides a wide array of resources to decrease barriers and end homelessness for all women including female veterans and their families, women with severe physical and mental health concerns and survivors of domestic violence.”

Markle previously visited a DWC centre on Vancouver Island after stepping down from royal duty in 2019 to “offer support” and to “boost the staff’s spirits”.

She and Prince Harry have won the prestigious Robert F. Kennedy Ripple of Hope Award for challenging the royal family’s “power structure”.

The royal couple will attend an awards ceremony in New York on December 6.
