King Charles boots his brother out of Buckingham Palace

King Charles has shown his ruthless streak, with a big move against his own, disgraced, brother.

Prince Andrew is being booted out of Buckingham Palace by his own brother, King Charles.

The disgraced Duke of York - who settled a US civil sex assault case brought by Australia-based Virginia Giuffre - will no longer be allowed to have an office at Buckingham Palace.

The 62-year-old will also not be allowed to use it as a corresponding address, reports The Sun.

His formal eviction means the staff he was able to keep at the palace after he formally stepped down from life as a working royal now face losing their jobs.

“Any presence at the Palace is officially over,” a source said.

“The King has made it clear. He isn’t a working royal. He’s on his own.”

Prince Andrew had hoped to try and repair his shattered reputation, and reportedly hoped to eventually be allowed back into the royal fold.

But shortly after his ascension to the throne, King Charles told him a return to royal life was not possible - ever.

Prince Andrew is reportedly recruiting a new communications team in a bid to salvage his reputation and is now expected to fund his own staff.

It comes after Andrew’s coveted role of Colonel of the Grenadier Guards was this week gifted to Queen Consort Camilla.

The rest of his royal and military titles were stripped from him earlier this year, months before the death of The Queen.

The Royal Household will, however, fund his 24/7 security detail after the Home Office said they would no longer fund his protection officers.

Despite being frozen out of much of the royals life in public, behind closed doors he will be able to mingle with them at Christmas. He is set to join senior royals, including the King, at Sandringham - an event that will include his wife Sarah Ferguson, for the first time in 30 years.
