Woman suffers 'multiple injuries' in collision with tree

A WOMAN suffered multiple injuries and was airlifted to Toowoomba after a crash on the Western Downs.

A WOMAN suffered multiple injuries and was airlifted to Toowoomba after a crash on the Western Downs.

The woman, 39, was the sole occupant of a car which crashed into a tree on Undulla Creek Rd at Tara about 11.50am Saturday.

Paramedics treated the woman at the scene before the RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter was called.

The woman was transported in a stable condition.
