A WOMAN who suffered a medical episode after a two-vehicle crash in Toowoomba was taken to hospital in a serious condition.
Emergency services were called to reports two cars had collided in Newtown shortly before 6.30pm.
One woman was taken to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition with neck and back pain from the scene at the corner of Bridge and Holberton Sts.
A second woman, aged in her 50s, suffered a medical event after the crash and was taken to Toowoomba Hospital in a serious condition.
The critical care paramedic from the Queensland Ambulance Service tended the woman during transport.
