A WOMAN'S apparent need for speed on the Warrego Highway has earned her a date in court.
Toowoomba Road Policing Unit officers intercepted the 27-year-old woman on the Warrego Highway near Dalby about 5.50pm on Monday.
The woman is alleged to have reached 146kmh in the signed 100kmh highway zone.
The woman was charged with high end speeding and issued a notice to appear in court at a later date.
