WHAT'S OPEN: Toowoomba stores trading today

IT’S May Day which means another public holiday is upon us. To make things easy The Chronicle has compiled a list of stores that are open today.

Grand Central Shopping Centre, Clifford Gardens Shopping Centre and Toowoomba Plaza will be closed today, reopening tomorrow.

You won't be able to duck down to your nearest Wooloworths and Coles stores because the supermarket chains won't be operating today.

However the three IGA stores at Hill St, Bridge St and the Hume St will be open until late.

Foodworks at Northlands and Southridge are also open today.

If you're after some coffee on the go all three Zarraffas stores are open until 6pm.

McDonald's is also open, as is Super Rooster.

Toowoomba Day and Night Pharmacy on the crn of James and Neil Sts will trade as normal, as will Chemmart Pharmacy on the crn of West and James Sts, with both chemists open until 10pm.

If your children are looking for something to keep them busy today Klou9ine is open from 10am - 7pm.

You can also catch a movie at Birch Carol and Coyle from 10am, with the cinemas operating normal hours.

Fitzy's on Church will be closed today but the Tapestry Bar will be open as usual.
