Charges laid for alleged hit-run that killed three-year-old boy
The man accused of killing a boy after allegedly hitting him with his car and fleeing the scene has been charged.

A West Australian man who allegedly killed a little boy with his car and left the scene has now been arrested.
The 18-year-old man was allegedly driving a white Holden Commodore along Hancock Ave in the Perth suburb of Aveley when he hit the three-year-old boy at about 5.15pm on Wednesday.
WA Police allege the driver didn't stop after the incident.
The child was taken to Midland Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries a short time later.
Police have since arrested a man from Ellenbrook after officers identified a vehicle of interest overnight.
The man was charged with manslaughter, driver fail to stop and ensure assistance received after incident occasioning death and driver fail to report an incident occasioning death or grievous bodily harm.
He is due to appear in the Midland Magistrates Court in December.
