QANTAS, Virgin Australia, Skytrans and Alliance will have a strong presence at the Wellcamp Airport Open Day which is expected to attract up to 10,000 visitors.
The event will be held on November 24.
Wellcamp Airport spokesman Denis Wagner, said although the airlines had yet to formally commit to providing services to and from the airport, negotiations were well underway.
"We are very excited to have their support at the open day and hope it won't be too long before we have formal agreement in place," he said.

Mr Wagner said the event would give locals a first-hand preview of the new airport and its progress when it opened to the public for the first time.
"The airport is an asset for the community that we anticipate will have a multi-million-dollar economic benefit for the Toowoomba and Darling Downs region," he said.
Wagners is building Wellcamp Airport - Australia's first greenfield public airport since Tullamarine, in Melbourne which was built almost 50 years ago, and the first privately-funded public airport ever built in Australia.
More than 10 million tonnes of rock is being used in the construction of the airport precinct.
Wellcamp Airport is primarily a passenger airport featuring a 2.87km large jet capable runaway and is expected to be operational in September/October next year.
Destinations are expected to include Sydney, Melbourne, Cairns, Adelaide, Mackay, Roma and Emerald.
Mr Wagner said the airport would open up domestic and export opportunities for primary producers.
"The current Toowoomba Airport will remain operational but due to the restricted length of its runway it does not have the capacity to service larger passenger aircraft. The Oakey Army Base will also remain fully operational alongside both Wellcamp and Toowoomba Airport," Mr Wagner said.
The Wellcamp Airport Open Day will be held on November 24 between 9.30am and 4pm.
