A TOOWOOMBA vet has spoken about dog baiting in the city, saying deliberate poisonings are a rare occurrence.
Toowoomba Family Vet co-owner Dr Louis Gilshenan said residents often phoned in with pet poisoning concerns.
"I've been in Toowoomba for 15 years and I can count on one hand the number of true, malicious poisonings I've seen," Dr Gilshenan said.
