A man who died in suspicious circumstances on Tuesday has been identified as a 49-year-old from Dandenong.

Homicide squad detectives are investigating the death of the man at a McCrae St, Dandenong, home after emergency services were called to the property at 9.40am.

“The exact circumstances surrounding his death are yet to be identified and detectives from the Homicide Squad will attend. A crime scene remains in place,” a Victoria Police statement said.
