Police are hunting a gunman who opened fire on a Roxburgh Park home in a brazen daylight shooting.
The attacker sped past a house on Lockwood Drive in a white Toyota Camry, pumping two shots into a bedroom window and some brickwork next to the home’s garage at 7.07am on January 20 as a man and woman slept inside.
CCTV footage of the older model vehicle captured the moment the gunman pointed the weapon out the window and fired the two loud shots without slowing down the car.
A short time before firing the shots, the same car was spotted driving up and down the street for about half an hour.
The man and woman were not struck by the bullets.
Anyone with CCTV or dash cam of the incident should call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report online at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au.
