Two teenagers charged after allegedly driving stolen cars on Gold Coast

Two teenage boys, one as young as 13, have been charged after allegedly driving a pair of stolen vehicles on the Gold Coast.

Two teenagers have been charged after allegedly driving a pair of stolen vehicles, including a luxury car, on the Gold Coast.

A number of stolen vehicles were identified by police, travelling north on the Pacific Motorway about 10.30pm on Sunday.

A Gold Coast police spokeswoman said officers used a tyre deflation device on an allegedly stolen Porsche Macan, in Arundel.

The vehicle eventually stopped at Admiralty Drive in Surfers Paradise and two boys were taken into custody.

Officers found the other allegedly stolen car, a red Mazda CX3, abandoned in Nerang.

A 15-year-old from Elanora has been charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, while a 13-year-old from Pimpama has been charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

They have both been remanded in police custody and are to front Southport Childrens Court on Monday.
