THE State's road toll has climbed to 157 after a horror two days in Queensland.
Two people have been killed and a further three injured in traffic crashes in the region since Monday despite pleas from police for motorists to play it safe on the roads.
Forensic Crash Unit investigators were preparing a report for the coroner into a fatal traffic crash in Dalby yesterday.
A man, 42, from Goranba near Tara, was killed when the Ford utility he was travelling in collided with a heavy rigid truck on the Warrego Hwy about 5.50am.
Dalby police Forensic Crash Unit Sergeant Sean Relf said the force of the collision propelled the utility into the oncoming traffic lane.
"A truck has collided with the Ford utility which has crossed into the oncoming lane of traffic," Sgt Relf said.
A medium rigid truck then smashed into the utility.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The two truck drivers were reportedly uninjured in the crash.
RACQ CareFlight crews airlifted a man from the Miles Hospital following a truck rollover 10 km west of Miles about 8.30am yesterday.
The man had been driving a flat-bed truck carrying a station wagon, towing a trailer with a bob-cat onboard.
In another incident, a woman, 51, was cut from the wreck of a car on Old Goombungee Rd at Woolmer about 6.15pm Monday.
Emergency services worked to free the woman from the Honda CR-V wreck which had become wedged in a roadside ditch.
The woman was stabilised by paramedics at the scene.
It is understood the woman suffered a medical condition which contributed to the cause of the crash.
A woman, 20, was taken to hospital following a crash on the Warrego Hwy about 500 metres east of the off-ramp at Gatton about 3pm Monday.
The woman reportedly received minor injuries in the crash.
Investigators will prepare a report for the coroner following a fatal traffic crash on the D'Aguilar Hwy at Harlin, near Kilcoy, Monday night in which a man, 52, was killed when the car ran off the road and hit a tree after 10pm.
