THE Warrego Highway on the down section of the Toowoomba Range was shut for several hours early yesterday after a truck caught on fire.
Firefighters said the truck, a B-double prime mover, had been carrying onions and water when the cab caught on fire just before 5am yesterday near the road works.
No-one was hurt in the crash.
Firefighters said they left the scene about 9am yesterday, leaving Transpacific to decant the fuel from the truck.
