Truck driver airlifted after Warrego Highway rollover

BREAKING: A truck driver has suffered serious injuries after being thrown through the windscreen in a harrowing rollover early this morning.

BREAKING: A truck driver has suffered serious injuries after being thrown through the windscreen in a harrowing rollover early this morning.

The man was ejected from the small-body truck when it rolled on the Warrego Highway at Macalister about 2.45am today.

Queensland Ambulance paramedics stabilised the man at the scene and transported him to a waiting rescue helicopter.

A QAS spokesman said the man was airlifted to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition with chest injuries.

Queensland Fire and Emergency Services crews and police remained at the scene of the crash until 3.30am.

The man was the sole occupant of the truck.
