TWO trucks have collided at the intersection of James St and the entrance to Clifford Gardens Shopping Centre.
Toowoomba police, Queensland Fire and Rescue Service and ambulance units are on scene.
Early indications are that the two semi-trailers side-swiped each other while both were travelling in a westerly direction about 7.20am.
Sergeant Peter Hudson of Toowoomba Police said one west-bound lane was blocked to traffic.
One truck was blocking the turning lane to Clifford Gardens Shopping Centre while the other had come to a stop in the outside lane of James St.
Other trucks were struggling to navigate between the two trucks involved in the crash.
