POLICE are investigating a terrifying home invasion during which three people were threatened and robbed of their vehicle.

POLICE are investigating a terrifying home invasion during which three people were threatened and robbed of their vehicle.

Three men stormed the Festival St home in Rockville about 6.30pm yesterday, smashing their way through the front door.

Toowoomba Criminal Investigation Branch detectives said the men threatened the three residents inside the property, demanding the occupants hand over property and keys to a black Holden Commodore sedan.

The residents complied, handing over the keys before the men fled in the car.

Two women, aged 39 and 20, and a 22-year-old man inside the home were not injured in the incident.

Detectives are treating the burglary as a targeted attack and believe the occupants and the three men are known to each other.

Detectives are appealing for anyone who may have seen the car, with Queensland registration 774-WJF in the area around the time of the offence.
