Woman hospitalised following ‘physical altercation’ in Kelso

A 30-year-old woman has been taken to hospital following a violent altercation in Kelso early this morning. Get the latest update.

A fight between two women has resulted in one of them being taken to hospital in the early hours of Monday.

A Queensland Police spokeswoman said officers responded to reports of a disturbance at Gower Street, Kelso.

“Initial information indicates around 3am two women became involved in a physical altercation,” the spokeswoman said.

“A 30-year-old woman sustained a wound to her head and was transported to Townsville University Hospital.”

A Queensland Ambulance spokesman confirmed that the victim had sustained facial injuries and was transported to the hospital in a stable condition.
