NQ stores have revealed trading hours for the Easter long weekend

Not sure where to shop this Easter long weekend? Here’s your guide to what’s open from Good Friday to Easter Monday.

The Easter long weekend is here, and major stores have revealed their trading hours for last minute buys.

As location times may vary, residents are being reminded to check the times of their local stores.

Woolworths

The supermarket giant has confirmed stores across North Queensland will remain closed on Good Friday, but will trade on Easter Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 9am to 6pm.

Coles

All Coles locations will close for Good Friday and reopen from Easter Saturday. Some stores may operate under reduced hours.

Aldi

Aldi at Willows will be closed on Good Friday and reopen the next day under regular hours.

IGA

IGA Garbutt will be open from 8am to 8pm from Good Friday to Easter Monday.

Cornetts IGA Bamford Lane will be open from 8am to 9pm from Good Friday to Easter Monday.

Cornetts IGA Mount Louisa will be closed on Good Friday and reopen from 9am to 5pm from Easter Saturday to Easter Monday.

Locals are advised to check their local store’s hours online.

Mundingburra IGA.

Townsville Shopping Centre

The shopping centre will close on Good Friday, and will reopen on Easter Saturday, however JP Services will remain closed.

The centre will operate under normal business hours on Easter Sunday, and reduced hours of 10am to 4pm Easter Monday.

Some stores in the centre may choose to remain closed over the weekend, more information can be found online.

Petrol stations

Some petrol stations across North Queensland will be open on Good Friday, however hours may vary across the region.

Locals are advised to check their local petrol station.

Liquor stores (BWS, Dan Murphy’s, Liquorland)

All liquor stores in North Queensland will be closed on Good Friday.

BWS Castletown will begin trading on Easter Saturday at 9am and remain open for the long weekend.

All Liquorlands will reopen on Easter Saturday at varying times, residents are advised to check their local store online.

Dan Murphy’s will be open under regular business hours on Easter Saturday, and from 9am to 7pm on Easter Sunday and Monday.

Bunnings

Townsville stores will close for Good Friday, and will be open on Easter Saturday from 6am to 6pm.

Bunnings will also be open Easter Sunday and Monday from 7am to 6pm.

Priceline Pharmacy

Priceline The Willows will be closed on Good Friday and open from 10am to 4pm Easter Saturday to Easter Monday.

The Aitkenvale store will be open Easter Saturday from 9am to 4pm, and remain closed the rest of the long weekend.

Hours may differ between stores.

Tiny Mountain Brewery

The Palmer St brewery will be open for lunch and dinner on Good Friday.
