Man charged with sexual assault at Burdekin massage business

Police are appealing for anyone who may have been sexually assaulted at a Burdekin massage business to come forward.
This comes as a Burdekin man has been charged with sexual assault relating to a woman in her 20s.
Police will allege the incidents occurred at a massage business between July 2024 and February 17 this year.
The man is due to appear in the Ayr Magistrates Court on March 24.
Ayr Criminal Investigation Branch Officer in Charge Detective Sergeant Lisa Shields said the investigation was ongoing.
“We are appealing for anyone who may have been a victim of a similar incident at a massage business in the Burdekin to come forward, or anyone who may have further information relating to the matter or victims,” Detective Sergeant Shields said.
