Australian country musician Dylan Wright will stop in North Queensland when he takes the stage at the NTI Townsville 500.
The Golden Guitar nominated artist first gained popularity after winning the 9th season of Australian Idol in 2024, and has since captured the hearts of country music fans across the country.
Wright said he’s keen to join the star-studded line-up from July 11 to 13, which includes acts from Professional Bull Riders, Summernats, and Nautilus Aviation.
“It’s such a great event, and I can’t wait to bring some country energy to North Queensland,” he said.
It will be the 32-year-old’s first show in North Queensland, having already played in Sydney, Perth and Newcastle, and is set to perform in Nashville in June.
Supercars CEO Shane Howard said he expects Wright to draw more fans to the event, which is already predicted to be one of the biggest crowds in its history.
“Dylan’s success over the past year has been phenomenal, and we’re thrilled to have him join our live music line-up in Townsville,” he said.
“He’s an incredible talent with wide appeal, and the perfect fit for the electric festival atmosphere we’re building in 2025.”
Tickets are available online.
