A YOUNG tradie has appealed for witnesses and dashcam footage after thieves stole tools estimated to be worth about $2500 from a ute parked at the City Golf Club.
The thief nicked the tools between 11am-2.30pm on Thursday.
They include an impact driver, circular saw, reciprocating saw, grinder, hammer drill, radio, four batteries and a charger. All are Makita branded and are marked with pink spray-paint.
The tradie’s partner Cheyne Bailey appealed for help to identify the offenders, including any dashcam footage.
“There were no cameras where he was parked,” she said.
While the couple makes sure to secure their property at home, Ms Bailey thought a worksite would be safe.
“They must have had a car (because) you could not carry it all,” she said.
