When wet weather will continue in Toowoomba
AFTER a wet start to the working week, here’s when we can expect the rain to continue to fall until.
Toowoomba

IT WAS a wet and foggy morning in Toowoomba, but according to the Bureau of Meteorology, the Toowoomba airport only recorded 7.6mm in the past 24 hours.
“Sometimes when they’re short and sharp they seem a lot heavier than they are,” BOM forecaster Livio Regano said.
“Being Toowoomba it (the fog) would be cloud. The cloud barrages onto the eastern escarpment and sits there.
“To get a real radiation fog it has to be really still, but in Toowoomba you can get it when it’s still windy because it’s just cloud banking on the range, and it can happen any time of day.”
Mr Regano said the weather was quite unsettled throughout most of Queensland, and the rain was likely to hang around the Darling Down for the rest of the week.
“It’s a case where it would be risky on any one day to hang your washing out,” he said.
“Tomorrow is the best chance of having sunny breaks, but Wednesday onwards you have a 50-60 per cent chance of rain.
“It would be in the form of showers and the occasional thunderstorms. We’re looking at figures below 10mm for most people.
“Someone somewhere will have heavier rain, but nearly everyone will have less than 10mm.
“Thursday will be the best chance of rain.”
