Toowoomba is experiencing temperatures well below average today as well as strong winds.
IT'S beginning to feel a lot like autumn in Toowoomba this morning, as temperatures slip to seven degrees below average.
The Bureau of Meteorology expects the Garden City to reach a top of 19 degrees today.
There are also strong winds blowing through the city at about 35kmph.
BOM forecaster Kimba Wong said temperatures would remain below average for most of this week.
"We have quite a lot of cloud cover and a south easterly wind changed which pushed up over the coast on the last couple of days," Ms Wong said.
"It should be a touch less cloudy tomorrow so warming up a few degrees but still a bit below average for the next couple of days.
"But the weekend looks to be a coming up to about average."
Ms Wong said showers between 5-15mm could be expected over a broad area today.
"But 30mm to 50mm is not impossible if we get trending showers coming over," she said.
"Today is looking to be the wettest days but after today it should be more isolated showers, more hit and miss."
