Upgraded car and dog wash proposed for Wilsonton
A development application has been lodged for a car and dog wash in Wilsonton.

A DEVELOPMENT application has been lodged for Carwash Express, which is moving as part of the recently announced $20 million Wilsonton Shopping Centre redevelopment.
The car wash will be relocated to the northwestern side of the shopping centre's parcel of land, fronting Richmond Dr.
Documents lodged by Consolidated Properties Group show the land upon which the car wash is proposed would otherwise be left vacant by the Wilsonton Shopping Centre stage two redevelopment proposal.
"The proposed car wash replaces an existing car wash use on the site," documents said.
"The new car wash will involve an increase in the number of washing bays from one to four and will involve the relocation of the car wash internally within the site.
"A dog wash is proposed in addition to the car wash on the site."
The dog wash will include two wash bays and is ancillary to the car wash
The new facility will also include vacuuming bays and car spaces to support the operation.
Toowoomba Regional Council is assessing the proposal.
