UPDATE: Part of the Warrego Highway is expected to be closed further into Tuesday following a collision between a truck and a forklift.
QFES Anzac Ave station officer Brad Ryan said the B-double semi-trailer was travelling west on the highway, about 3km from Charlton, when it clipped a Manitou forklift trailer.
“Both drivers of the vehicles were removed without any damage to themselves,” Mr Ryan said.
The driver of the forklift suffered no injuries, while the truck driver was taken to Toowoomba Hospital.
Mr Ryan said it was expected part of the Warrego Highway near the corner of Jannuschs Rd could be closed for “some time” following the crash.
