News Corp have announced the winners of the recent Bank Balance Boost competition and three lucky Toowoomba Chronicle readers have received a share of the $50,000 in prize money.
Of the 203 prizes on offer, there were three major winners announced and 200 minor prize winners drawn totalling a $50,000 prize pool.
The three major prizes winners each won $10,000 while the 200 minor prize winners each received $100.

Natalie Joyce from Westbrook was one of the three winners and said she was happy to have finally come out trumps in a competition.

“I don’t win a lot of competitions like this, despite entering as many as I can. I always say you gotta be in it to win it so it’s nice to have my efforts pay off this time,” she said.
“It’s exciting, I’ll certainly be spending it wisely don’t you worry.”

Ms Joyce said because it was the end of financial year she was going to put her $100 towards a new top or pair of pants.

“Definitely a clothing item of some description,” she said.

“I like to get good best bang for my buck so I will probably try and find a good sale at Grand Central.”

The other two winners were Sue Burns and Michelle Dahl.
