Toowoomba teen injured after crashing into pole at notorious city intersection in Newtown

A notorious Toowoomba intersection is the scene of another crash, after a teenager collided with a pole in Newtown in the early hours of Friday morning.

A teenager has been rushed to hospital after his car collided with a pole at a notorious Toowoomba intersection on Friday morning.

The incident occurred just before 5am on the corner of Taylor and Tor Streets in Newtown, which is regularly the scene of crashes.

The man in his late teens was treated for chest pain and taken to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition.
