Toowoomba beauty services prepare to reopen

Here are which beauty services will be available starting from this weekend, as the state government lifts some beauty service restrictions.

Beauty salon looks to reopen

THE BOOKS are filling up fast at Raw Beauty Toowoomba ahead of its reopening this Saturday, as coronavirus restrictions are eased for beauty salons across the state.

Raw Beauty Toowoomba owner Carla Malone said preparations were under way to get the salon ready for the weekend.

"It's been about six or seven weeks without work, so I'm excited to get back into everything and see all of my clients again," Ms Malone said.

"We have been getting our COVID safe plan in place, fixing things up and making it all look nice."

From Saturday, nail and beauty salons can accommodate 10 clients at a time.

Waxing, nail treatments, eyelash extensions, facials, cosmetic injections and laser are all now allowed by appointment.

Restrictions remain on spray tans, saunas and non-therapeutic massages.
