On Saturday Tommy Gun's in Grand Central will join 13 stores across Australia to assist fire-ravaged communities in Queensland and New South Wales, donating $5 from every haircut to the Salvation Army.
"Seeing the devastation and hearing the impact it is having on families has really resonated with the team at Tommy Gun's. If we can make a difference in the local community, we will do whatever it takes," Tommy Gun's Grand Central manager Hinemoa Wells said.
The store hopes to do more than 200 haircuts to raise $1000.
"It might not be enough, but every dollar counts and we feel proud to support our local communities and raise awareness about the crisis that's affecting the people around us."
