APEX Toowoomba has punched well above its weight this year, with a number of members picking up gongs at the organisation's annual national gathering.
The recent Apex Australia National Convention at Kadina, SA, included the award ceremony for all its top achievers, with two Toowoomba members going home with major awards.
While known on a local level for some time due to their dedication to helping others, Adam Stewart and Jordan Martin were given recognition on a national scale when they respectively took home the Apexian of the Year and the Young Apexian of the Year awards.
The club also won the award for Best Dinner Notice.
Toowoomba Apexian Gavin Mingay said the club was always busy carrying out projects, with some of the beneficiaries including Lifeline, Teen Challenge, Toowoomba Children's Contact Centre and Sunrise Way.
