Thunderstorms heading west for week of erratic weather

This week’s weather events will keep Darling Downs residents on their toes with high fire danger, thunderstorms, and heatwaves on the radar between Monday and Wednesday alone.
The Bureau of Meteorology predicts the chance of a thunderstorm in the southwest on Monday afternoon, but not before a hot, sunny morning with temperatures hitting the mid to high 30s.
Overnight temperatures are predicted to reach between 17 and 21 degrees.
There will be less chance of showers on Tuesday, with rain only predicted for the east of the region.
Overnight temperatures will fall to between 19 and 23 with daytime temperatures reaching 34 to 39.
Wednesday brings with it a 70 per cent chance of showers most likely during the afternoon and evening, as well as the chance of a thunderstorm.
Daytime temperatures will reach between 27 and 34 while night time temps will fall to between 18 and 22 degrees.
