Archibishops, Catholic school leaders and students came together to celebrate Catholic Education Week, hosted by Toowoomba’s diocese for the first time in five years.
Catholic Education Week runs from July 24 to 30 and provides Catholic schools with an opportunity to celebrate their community.
The Queensland Catholic Education Commission officially launched the week on Tuesday, hosted by the Diocese of Toowoomba Catholic Schools Office at St Patrick’s Cathedral.
This year’s theme is “Communities of Faith, Hope and Love”, which QCEC’s executive director Dr Lee-Anne Perry said was centred around the community’s faith in God, hope for the future, and love of God and each other.
