THE Toowoomba Regional Council has revealed the full suite of projects in its $50 million pandemic response capital works program.

The stimulus program, announced in the latest budget, will include 64 projects of varying sizes that will be completed by local contractors.

Deputy Mayor Geoff McDonald said the program, treated separately from the TRC's standard capital works budget, was about reviving business activity across region.

"As part of the Pandemic Response Investment there has been $11.8 million allocated to new capital projects, $26 million allocated to infrastructure renewal programs and $12.2 million allocated to upgrade programs," he said back in June.

"The purpose of this innovative program is to stimulate local business that employs local people supporting local families who live in the region."
