Popular Vietnamese restaurant expands to second location

THE people behind popular Vietnamese restaurant Original Saigon have opened a second venue in Toowoomba.

THE people behind popular Vietnamese restaurant Original Saigon have opened a second venue in Toowoomba.

The new restaurant, known as Tram Vietnam, opened this week at The Ridge in Kearneys Spring.

Taking to Facebook this week, a spokesman for the restaurant expressed their excitement for the opening.

"We thank you for your continued support and patience," they said.

"Can't wait to see you all."

Last year Original Saigon owner Hieu Pham told The Chronicle he had plans to expand and franchise the business, with the new stores to take on the Tram Vietnma branding.

The menu is similar to Original Saigon and includes popular Vietnamese favourites like Pho, Banh Mi and rice paper rolls.

It is open Monday to Sunday from 11am to 8pm.
