Paramedics called to early morning crash in Mulgowie

A female passenger has been flown to hospital after a serious crash south of Toowoomba.

Police are investigating a serious crash at Mulgowie during the early hours of this morning.

Initial investigations indicate just after 2am a Toyota sedan hit a power pole out the front of a hotel on Mulgowie Road.

A 29-year-old woman believed to be the passenger was airlifted with life threatening injuries to Princess Alexandra Hospital.

The 23-year-old female driver was taken to Ipswich Hospital with minor injuries.

Anyone who witnessed the crash or has further information is encouraged to contact police.

The Toowoomba Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
