Paramedics are assessing five people injured in bypass crash

Paramedics have been called to a two-vehicle crash on the Toowoomba Bypass after five people were injured.

The initial reports indicated that the two cars collided on the Warrego Highway at Charlton about 11.10am.

All occupants are out of their vehicles and are being assessed by Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics.

A QAS spokeswoman said several are injured, though none seriously.
