Paid parking resumes at Grand Central as restrictions ease

GRAND Central has resumed paid parking at the centre as of Monday.

GRAND Central Shopping Centre has resumed its paid parking scheme as of Monday.

"We've seen government restrictions continue to ease this week, with most of our stores now open and trading at Grand Central, and customer traffic has increased," Grand Central centre manager Claire Torkington said.

"As such, we have made the decision to resume normal managed carparking at Grand Central.

"This decision follows the temporary suspension of managed parking during April and May, which was designed to assist our retailers and customers access the centre and their places of work with convenience during the significant lockdown period."
