One new COVID-19 case confirmed on Good Friday

DARLING Downs Health confirmed another case of coronavirus in Toowoomba yesterday, bringing the total to 42 cases across the region.

There are 33 confirmed cases in Toowoomba, four in Oakey, two in Kingaroy, one in Miles, one in Warwick, and one in Chinchilla.

So far 19 cases have recovered in the Darling Downs health region.

Darling Downs Health is urging people to stay home over the Easter long weekend.
