‘Like a day spa’: New beauty salon opens in Toowoomba

SOPHROSYNE Hair, Beauty and Nails opened it’s doors today offering the perfect place for pampering.

DREAM JOB: Owner of Sophroysne Hair, Beauty and Nails Alyssa Mitchell is excited to open the new salon on Brooke St.

IT WAS now or never for Alyssa Mitchell who opened her own hair, beauty and nail salon today.

Located on Brooke St, Ms Mitchell was excited to finally open Sophrosyne Hair, Beauty and Nails after working in the industry for 13 years.

"It's been a goal of mine for many years," Ms Mitchell said.

"It's definitely very testing at the moment, I've got so much more to consider with the COVID-19 outbreak

"But I thought 'I'm not going to sit down and just wait', I said 'it's now or never, and I have to try this for myself'."

 

 

Ms Mitchell is a qualified hairdresser, beautician and nail technician and has just finished courses to become qualified to do eyelash extensions.

"You can get a haircut and a pedicure and a facial," Ms Mitchell said.

"It's like a day spa, but the difference is it has the hair aspect too."
