SERVING a delicious array of authentic Korean food, new restaurant Kocu is creating buzz on Margaret St.

Owner Jisu Lim, who moved to Toowoomba from Brisbane last year, said his vision was to create a simple space with great food.

"When I came to Toowoomba, there weren't many Korean restaurants," Mr Lim said.

"I opened Kocu in November last year.

"Here we make real Korean food, like the type you would get at home."

Mr Lim said moved here with his wife, who is studying nursing at the University of Southern Queensland.

"It took around four months to set up the restaurant," he said.

"I tried to make it a simple design."

The restaurant is located at 198 Margaret St and is open from Tuesday - Saturday for lunch and dinner.
