Motorist hurt after crashing in to fence, house in Harristown

Paramedics and firefighters responded to reports of driving losing control of their vehicle and crashing through a fence.

Paramedics have transported a woman to the Toowoomba Hospital after she was injured in a single-vehicle crash.

The woman and a second motorist were travelling in a white sedan when they crashed through a fence and came to rest beside a house in Butt St, Harristown, about 11.45am.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the woman sustained minor lacerations.

The second motorist was uninjured.   

There are unconfirmed reports that the woman was test-driving a new car at the time.
